This Herm Sprenger Pinch Collar is made of solid steel. It has a Chromium layer made with innovative technique of electroplating (placing a thin layer on the surface). This chrome plating prevents the steel to get rusty. But be careful, do not scratch the surface of this item, because the rust may appear.
The weight of this prong collar is about 14 oz (400 g). It can vary according to the quantity of the links, but the difference won't be significant.
